Pod Casting
I don't know much about podcasting, but I do know some of the things podcasting is used for and what it is capable of. It's series of digital files, usually video or audio. By releasing a podcast, makes your information any type of digital file downloadable and accessable to other users on the wed. It's good for sharing information of all sorts as well as a social network, to meet and share with others. Itunes uses podcasts to shar music and video files with others all over the web. Itunes is know as a podcatcher, which can automatically identify and download new files when they are released. There are so many different types of podcasts and podcatchers. Me personally, dont know many but would love to learn more about podcasting and podcatching. I feel as though he could open me up to a whole new style of communicating and sharing knowledge, entertainment, and other sorts of useful information.

ReplyDeletePodcasting will open you up to a whole new form of communication. You can use it on many educational levels, but especially with older students who will be able to use the software and podcast their thoughts and reflections.

I didn't even realize that i tunes uses podcasts to share their music and videos, until you brought it up. I agree with you on the fact that podcasting is a good way to connect with people. You can meet new people while podcasting. It can also, be very helpful for students in the classroom to show what they are working on to others who might not see it if it wasnt for podcasting. Hopefully when we podcast I will get more familiar with it and I will be able to use it more often.
